Paycor: Pros & Cons
On November 3, 223, I had an interesting interaction with The Clearing House. They assured me that a minor processing error that had affected deposits and transfers at some banks was completely resolved. I was impressed by their prompt response and transparency. In the spirit of maintaining clear communication, I reached out to PayCor, our payroll processor, to discuss the duplicate credits that had occurred due to their vendor's error. I was pleasantly surprised by their immediate acknowledgment of the issue. They were open and honest about the situation, which I greatly appreciated. PayCor suggested a practical solution - withholding the duplicate amount from the next paycheck. This seemed like a fair and straightforward way to handle the situation. They also gave me the option to return the duplicates under ACH rules, which showed their flexibility and willingness to accommodate different solutions. What really stood out to me was that PayCor did not debit any additional funds for the duplicate credits sent to employee accounts. This showed me that they truly value their clients and are committed to maintaining trust and integrity in their business relationships. While the situation was not ideal, I was impressed by PayCor's proactive approach and their commitment to finding a solution. Their response has reinforced my trust in their services, and I look forward to continuing our partnership into 224 and beyond.

Overall, the combination of robust features, ease of use, superior customer support, and flexible pricing make Paylocity an excellent alternative to Paycor.

ADP Workforce Now: Pros & Cons
Transitioning to ADP Workforce Now has been an exciting journey! The communication process has been a unique learning experience, and the transfer, though it took a few weeks, was a testament to the thoroughness of the process. I had a lot of questions, and while some took a while to get answered, it was a great opportunity to explore the software's features on my own. There were a few hiccups with the tax calculations initially, but it was a valuable lesson in understanding the complexities of payroll systems. Since September, I've been actively working with ADP to ensure our paystubs comply with Minnesota's 224 pay stub requirements. Just days away from the deadline, I was informed that they couldn't add what I was asking for. This was surprising, but it also highlighted the importance of state-specific requirements in payroll management.Despite the challenges, I would still recommend ADP Workforce Now. It's important to remember that no system is perfect and there will always be room for improvement. What's commendable is that they have recently followed up to rectify the issue. This shows their commitment to customer satisfaction and their willingness to adapt and improve. It's been a rollercoaster ride, but one that's been filled with learning and growth!

I find ADP Workforce Now a great alternative to Paylocity due to its comprehensive features. The platform offers robust payroll processing, time and attendance tracking, benefits administration, and talent management solutions. It's designed for businesses of all sizes, making it highly adaptable. What sets it apart is its global compliance capabilities, which are crucial for companies operating in multiple countries. ADP Workforce Now also provides excellent customer service with 24/7 support and an extensive knowledge base for self-service inquiries. Its user-friendly interface and customizable dashboard make it easy to navigate, even for non-tech savvy users. Lastly, the platform seamlessly integrates with other HR systems and business tools, providing a unified solution for HR management.
What are the differences between ADP Workforce Now and Paylocity?
I compared the 2 services and noticed that ADP Workforce Now and Paylocity are both comprehensive human resources management systems, but they differ in several ways. ADP Workforce Now is a more robust platform with extensive features that cater to large businesses. It offers advanced services such as talent management, benefits administration, and time and labor management. On the other hand, Paylocity is designed for small to mid-sized businesses and has a more user-friendly interface. In terms of customer support, users have reported quicker responses from Paylocity's support team. However, ADP Workforce Now provides more learning resources and extensive training for new users. The choice between the two would largely depend on the size of your business and your specific HR needs.

Dayforce HCM: Pros & Cons
Overall, Dayforce has been able to meet my needs and the support team is always available when I have questions. My TAM has made the transition to Dayforce smooth and turned my daily issues into learning and resolving opportunities instead of frustrations. Dayforce is the closest I could find to a one-stop solution that still meets my needs. Having so much data in one place allows for powerful reporting. However, I wish Dayforce had an internal ability to electronically sign documents, as it would make setting up and maintaining onboarding documents much easier. I switched to Dayforce HCM because I was a previous Ceridian Source customer who left due to ACA needs, but was unhappy with the support at ADP and was happy to return to Dayforce.

Namely: Pros & Cons
I think Namely is fantastic, timely, professional, helpful, and friendly. I find the HRIS system easy to manage and understand, and our employees like the feed. The customer service is top-notch - they're very helpful and friendly. I also like the eSig feature. However, I'm not keen on Namely Time as I wish it was simpler to use. I also wish that Namely had integrated background check providers and a built-in ATS system. I chose Namely mainly because of their customer support system, which gives me confidence in using their product. I appreciate their response to my review and their commitment to addressing my concerns.

I find Namely to be a great alternative to Paylocity due to its comprehensive and user-friendly interface. Namely offers a full suite of HR tools, including benefits administration, talent management, and payroll services, similar to Paylocity. However, what sets Namely apart is its social news feed feature which promotes employee engagement and communication. This feature is not available in Paylocity. Additionally, Namely provides advanced analytics and reporting capabilities that allow businesses to track and analyze their HR data more effectively. It also integrates seamlessly with other systems like applicant tracking, time-tracking, and performance management. While both platforms offer robust HR solutions, I believe Namely's additional features make it a more versatile choice for businesses looking to streamline their HR processes.
What are the differences between Namely and Paylocity?
I have used both Namely and Paylocity for human resources and payroll management. The main difference between the two lies in their functionality and user interface. Namely offers a more comprehensive solution, including HR, payroll, benefits, and talent management in one platform. It also provides a social news feed where employees can interact, fostering a sense of community within the organization.
Paylocity, on the other hand, is primarily a payroll and HR solution. It doesn't offer the same level of integration as Namely, but it does excel in its core areas. Paylocity's user interface is also more straightforward and easier to navigate than Namely's. However, it lacks the social aspect that Namely provides.
In conclusion, while both platforms offer robust HR and payroll solutions, the choice between Namely and Paylocity would depend on your specific needs and preferences.

Bigchange: Pros & Cons
My trainer is fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and always ready to assist us. Implementing BigChange was challenging and took about six months to roll out, partly due to my busy schedule. I'm impressed with the software's functionality and its ability to store all our customer details, job details, and job tracking. However, it can be complex to perform several separate actions needed for an automation to work, often requiring a call to Road Crew. I chose BigChange because it offered functionalities that other options lacked. I had previously used BigChange at another company and found it to be excellent. The vendor responded positively to my review, expressing their commitment to continuous improvement.

Both platforms provide powerful tools but are designed for different aspects of business management. Therefore, the choice between BigChange and Paylocity would depend on the specific needs of your business.
