Proceed with Caution: Steep Learning Curve Ahead
I find the customer support for Ontraport to be excellent as they are very responsive and always willing to go the extra mile. However, there is a significant learning curve to using this software. Many of the terms used are different from other similar programs. As a solo entrepreneur, even sending an email requires learning the system. If I had a support team, they would need to become experts to use it effectively. The vendor responded to my concerns, acknowledging the learning curve that comes with using new software. They suggested scheduling a screenshare appointment with their support team for guidance. They also provide a video recording of the session for future reference. They also pointed out the "?" feature in the account for accessing videos, use cases, and step-by-step instructions. This response was given in February 2019.

My experience with Ontraport was both frustrating and costly. I found ActiveCampaign to be a superior and more affordable alternative. If you're contemplating a more expensive option with comprehensive features and potential power, InfusionSoft may be a better fit. However, if you choose to use InfusionSoft or Ontraport, you or a team member should possess technical skills and patience for troubleshooting. Ontraport is essentially a 'full stack' tool, enabling the creation of marketing web pages and forms that directly link to your CRM, email, and marketing automation tools. It has the potential to be powerful, combining what would typically require multiple tools into one. However, I found it complex to use. It was honestly simpler for me to manage several different tools and connect them via Zapier, API, or other integrations. I faced numerous frustrating issues with Ontraport, which ultimately led me to switch away from it.

I've tried multiple other services, but Ontraport has outperformed them all. Their customer service is excellent - fast, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. I appreciate being able to create my sales pages in Ontraport and host them in Wordpress. I also love their campaigns and various integrations. The system is intuitive and the top-notch customer service enhances the experience even more. Thank you!

I have been using Ontraport for almost over two years to serve our customers. I find it not only easy to use but am continually impressed by the exceptional support received from their Support Team. Their accessibility and readiness to assist us via chat is outstanding. Usually, we are paired with someone familiar. Even on rare occasions when a team member might not know how to resolve an issue, they stay with us until it's sorted out.
