My experience with vtiger-crm has been incredibly positive. We switched from a different system that was decent but didn't fulfill all our needs. Vtiger-crm meets all our business requirements. It's easy to customize the system to our specific processes and its reporting feature is extensive, giving a complete overview of all necessary aspects. There's a bit of a learning curve, but their support helps you understand it quickly. We transitioned to Vtiger CRM because, even though FLG is a great software, it's not a complete CRM.

Vtiger Streamlined and Unified our Business
I use vtiger-crm for all aspects of company organization, from creating quotes for clients to registering our storage equipment. It's incredibly functional and allows us to organize everything. Vtiger is very helpful as it organizes all different areas of the company, such as sales, after-sales support, and logistics. We can store documents in the cloud for easy access and review. In the after-sales support area, I can create an asset with a serial number when a customer buys a medical equipment. I can then create guarantees, preventive maintenance, and even record incidents if something happens to the equipment. I can also assign tasks to engineers and tag them, so they know they have a job to do with an asset. We use vtiger to organize our warehouse and sales areas, and they now have new and improved quote forms. Our boss can see how many items we have in storage, our technical support can organize their customer visits, and our accounting department knows how much we sell and spend. Every employee can check customer information, and our logistics team can check sales orders in real time. The storage area can create assets as soon as a product arrives.

I have been using vTiger in my IT Security Services company for the past 2 years as a CRM and project management tool. I find the CRM aspect of vTiger to be average, lacking in intuitiveness and with an ineffective alert system. I receive too many emails daily, making it easy to miss important follow-up reminders. I would prefer a pop-up notification instead. While the system's lack of intuitiveness could be due to our company's configuration, I find it needs a more direct reminder system. On the positive side, vTiger is highly configurable to meet business needs, but over-customization can become a challenge.
