Why We Decided to Part Ways with User.com
I have been using User.com as a comprehensive solution for my 100-person team for the past 5 months. We put a lot of time and resources into integrating it with our processes and tools. However, we had to discontinue its use due to several reasons. First, the user experience is terrible. It's hard to navigate or locate anything, even for our experienced support staff. We've previously used Intercom and Zendesk, so we have a basis for comparison. Second, it overcomplicates simple processes, causing us to spend more time resolving them instead of focusing on customer support. Third, while it offers many features, they are all basic or limited, forcing us to devise workarounds. Fourth, there are hidden charges for attaching files in letters/chats, which is not disclosed on their pricing page. This could potentially cost us an additional $1,000 per year on top of the $4,000 annual fee, which keeps increasing every month. Lastly, they are.
