Nonexistent Support: A Streak Pro User's Experience
As a user of the paid "Pro" plan, I spend over 5,000USD per year on Streak. This review isn't about the free plan, which I believe is a good tool for personal use and basic features. As a cloud software developer, I understand the technical aspects and always provide detailed queries. However, I never receive competent responses from their support team. In one instance, it took 13 days and three nonsensical, semi-automatic replies to find out that the Streak "support" person didn't know that streak.readme.io is not just for reading documentation, but is also interactive for testing APIs. But it doesn't work and they don't seem to care. You can test this yourself by trying to use streak.readme.io. While Streak is easy to use and set up, and integrates with Gmail, it feels like a toy. The support is completely non-existent, either not responding at all or sending canned responses without any thought.

Everything at No Cost
I was in search of a tool for email tracking and categorizing emails based on conversations. I found Streak, which integrated every email from a customer into a single thread, a feature I found greatly advantageous, though it sometimes had its downsides. I had to pre-edit and then send emails to my customers. It was challenging to find a free tool, but Streak provided this service without any hidden costs. I can now easily track emails and send attachments via Streak. The best part is its integration with Gmail, allowing for easy classification. I particularly like the eye icon that turns green when an email is opened. I appreciate the ability to categorize data, but it does take up the entire Gmail interface. The user interface could be improved, as I often need to scroll to see how many opens have been made. I chose Streak because I was only looking at free tools due to budget constraints. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise and was suggested by a colleague. I switched to Streak to have a free CRM tool to track emails and integrate my customer.
