Save Time, Effort, and Money - Look Elsewhere!
I signed up for SurePayroll, hoping to utilize their payroll system and timekeeping product. I was initially directed to their timekeeping system, but discovered a week later that it couldn't meet my needs. They then pointed me to a list of their partners, but after investing time and money into setting up with one, I found out they weren't actually a timekeeping partner. They offered me a free month of service for the inconvenience, but when I set up payroll, it didn't function and my employees weren't paid. I ended up contacting Intuit Payroll who resolved everything within an hour. I found SurePayroll's software to be defective and their teams lack proper communication. Despite being supported by Paychex, I found their service disappointing and wouldn't recommend them. I believe the company needs a total revamp, from their representatives to their engineers. I chose SurePayroll because it appeared easy to use and trustworthy, but I feel I was deceived.

Initially, They Were Excellent
My initial experience with SurePayroll was positive. However, we encountered a banking error with an employee's bank and the resolution process has been frustrating. Despite numerous phone calls, emails, and interactions through the customer service online portal, we've been repeatedly told to wait 15 business days or 5 business days. They acknowledge the error, but the money has not been returned to the account. Over a month has passed and the issue remains unresolved. I am considering switching payroll services due to this. It seems impossible to speak with anyone who can expedite the correction process. They simply advise waiting another week or two, but no progress is made. It's absurd.

SurePayroll: Outstanding Value and Exceptional Customer Service
I highly recommend SurePayroll for its excellent value and outstanding customer service, although I find the reports lack customization and there are limited standard reports. I chose SurePayroll for their quick and knowledgeable customer service response to technical payroll questions, unlike QuickBooks which would take hours. The cost also influenced my decision to switch to SurePayroll. I appreciated the vendor's response to my review in March 2020.
