Budget-Friendly System Management with Kaseya
I consider Kaseya VSA a comprehensive tool that meets all our needs, from remote access and patch management to software/hardware auditing and asset management. It provides similar functionality to SMS/SCCM or LanDesk but at a much lower cost, and even includes options for additional endpoint protection management. However, I faced some issues with getting the VSA front-end to work on our shared IIS server. I ended up creating a separate VM for VSA, which was a straightforward solution but added another host to manage. Looking back, I probably should have contacted Kaseya Support for assistance, but since I had licenses and VM host overhead available, creating a new VM for VSA seemed like the fastest solution.

I especially value the remote access tools that enable me to oversee all the systems in the office. From patch management, cloud backup, software deployment, to remote desktop support, Kaseya provides everything. It allows me to manage my users' computers with a single click, whether they are in the office or at a client's location. However, I find Kaseya's support to be occasionally slow in responding and resolving tickets. I'm uncertain if it's due to a language barrier or my inability to clearly explain the issues, but it typically takes several attempts over a few days to resolve an issue.

I have used various software like Screen Connect, Teamview, and Logmein before, but I find Kaseya to be the best. It has been a crucial tool at our MSP for years. It was easy to deploy, update, and simple for new technicians to learn. It offers all the features we need to support our clients remotely without any issues. Currently, I have no complaints about it, everything is working as promised and Kaseya is regularly updated. The VSAX has been delayed, but that's not a problem.
