Exploring Shine: A Global Organisation's Perspective
As a part of a global organization, I've found Shine to be a useful tool for setting up initial interviews, particularly when coordinating everyone's schedules is challenging. It also removes the need for candidates to travel to our Liverpool site for interviews. We've been using it as an alternative to phone screening, which is advantageous for candidates as they can complete it at their convenience. I appreciate the customization options, even though we haven't fully exploited this feature yet. I receive emails when a candidate finishes an interview, which is helpful. Initially, I had some trouble setting up a role, but this has since been clarified. I would suggest improving navigation when setting up a role. For example, when adding questions, I have to skip three pages before getting to the relevant page. A sidebar for quick navigation would be beneficial. The vendor responded to my feedback, explaining that there is a "jump to step" option at the top of each page, which should simplify navigation.
