What is nTask?

nTask is a SaaS platform designed to simplify project management. It provides an intuitive dashboard for planning and tracking project steps, setting milestones, budgeting, and identifying task dependencies. The tool incorporates popular project management methods such as to-do lists, Gantt charts, and Kanban boards. nTask emphasizes collaboration, offering features like dedicated workspaces, team chat, and feedback to keep teams in sync. It also saves time by organizing fewer, more qualitative meetings and automatically generating timesheets. Renowned companies like Google, Apple, Walmart, and McLaren use nTask daily.

Pros from reviewers

  • Robust Risk module: This feature is particularly beneficial for managing large projects, providing a comprehensive view of potential risks and how to mitigate them.

  • Enhanced productivity and transparency: nTask allows for all projects and tasks to be visible to each team member, increasing accountability and efficiency

  • Meeting management feature: This tool enables easy oversight of team activities, identifying areas where assistance may be needed

  • Affordable pricing structure: nTask offers a cost-effective solution for project management, making it an attractive choice for businesses of all sizes

  • Ease of task creation and categorization: The software allows for simple creation and categorization of tasks, along with notifications for any modifications or comments

Cons from reviewers

  • Long wait for 'coming soon' features: Despite the overall positive experience, the wait for new features that are marked as 'coming soon' can be frustrating and may hinder the workflow

  • Glitches in task descriptions and comments: The inability to directly paste images into task descriptions or comments, and the erasure of comments when using the built-in spell check or switching windows, can be inconvenient and time-consuming

  • Limited Gantt chart view: The software does not allow viewing all tasks from different projects in one Gantt chart, making it difficult for users managing multiple projects to get a comprehensive view of their tasks

  • Lack of robust features: nTask could benefit from more advanced features such as risk logs, detailed task reporting for task-based billing, and better integration with other office tools

  • Outdated mobile app: The mobile application of nTask is outdated, which can be a significant concern for users who rely on mobile devices for their task management.

Excellent Project Management Tool for Start-ups

Overall, I'm satisfied with nTask and I'm excited to see how the development team will enhance this already impressive software. I was impressed by the ease with which I could start using nTask and immediately assign tasks and projects. Within the first day, my team and I managed to set up the software and make it usable for everyone. After a few months of use, we were able to gather stats/data from each project, which helped us to better estimate future projects. However, I was surprised to find that there was no timer feature. As I deal with many small tasks throughout my work day, I use a timer to better track each task. I switched to nTask because I was unhappy with the customer support at Basecamp. I appreciate the positive review and it's great to hear that nTask is beneficial for me and my team. I was informed that there actually is a timer feature.

      Exploring nTask: A 222 Insight

I found the nTask software stable and versatile, usable both online and as an app. The support was always available and updates with new features were regular. However, I felt it needed more robust features like risk logs, detailed task reporting especially for task-based billing, and better integration with other office tools. I initially chose nTask for its simplicity but decided to switch as I didn't want to keep requesting new features. The vendor responded positively to my review, appreciated my feedback, and promised to work on the suggested features.

      Enhanced Gantt Chart Functionality Needed!

I find nTask to be a decent software, but it lacks the features I need for my specific needs. It's more affordable than most other software in its category, and I appreciate the good support provided by nTask. I primarily signed up for nTask to use the Gantt chart feature. However, I was disappointed to find out that I couldn't view all tasks from different projects in one Gantt chart. As a small business with limited resources, managing several projects, it would be extremely beneficial for me to see how my time is distributed across different projects at the same time, instead of having to log into each project individually. I switched to nTask because I need to see all my tasks from different projects in one Gantt chart view. The vendor responded to my review in July 2022, stating that they could customize the software to meet my specific needs and asked me to get in touch with them.

      Outstanding Tool for Project Management

I think ntask is a fantastic task management software with outstanding time-tracking capabilities. It also functions as a risk management tool, helping to mitigate any threats and includes issue tracking to maintain my projects without any problems. However, it currently doesn't integrate with Zoom, but the company has promised to add this feature soon.

      Efficient Project Management with nTask

I appreciate nTask for its project planning and management capabilities, and its chat features that improve team communication and collaboration. However, it's not ideal for teams over 50 people and lacks advanced reporting features. The vendor responded to my review in August 2022, stating they are working on adding advanced reporting to nTask soon and advised me to stay tuned for updates.
