      Exceptional Support - Flexibility to Tackle Any Challenge

      It took me a while to persuade everyone to switch to Tripleseat from the old-fashioned method of emailing scanned, handwritten documents. However, once they saw the advantages, it quickly became popular. I'm impressed by the software's calendar, daily updates, and customization features. Setting up all your documents exactly how you want them can be a bit of work, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a quick process. The support team is fast and can resolve any problem, sometimes even doing the work for you. I do wish it handled vendors better and had a feature to schedule musical acts within an event. It's doable, but a bit clumsy. I chose Tripleseat primarily for its supportive staff and the ability to customize every little detail.

      Wishing for Better with Tripleseat

      I wouldn't recommend Tripleseat if you're a large company or if you conduct business at off-site venues. Our clients love the professional look of Gather and often compliment its ease of use. However, there are numerous issues. As an off-site catering company, we find that Tripleseat is more suited for in-house, on-site dining. They knew this when they sold us the program and should have realized it wasn't suitable for us. The most significant issue was that our invoices weren't adding up correctly, which could have cost us thousands of dollars if we hadn't manually checked them. There's no place for clients to confirm their contact information, which is inefficient when booking a high volume of events. The zip codes for our clients default to ours, so we have to manually input the correct zip code on every BEO to ensure our delivery drivers don't get lost. Despite several discussions, no one has been able to correct this issue. There's also no way to enlarge the font, making it difficult.

However, the software occasionally sends emails to clients' spam folders, which could potentially result in lost sales. I switched to Tripleseat from Gather because at that time, Gather was leading its competitors in terms of services. It removed the necessity to complete multiple forms for each client and provided organizational services for classifying clients based on their booking status.
