Unleashing Email Marketing Power with Customer.io
I am pleased with Customer.io as it instills confidence in me when sending transactional emails or marketing newsletters. The platform has a steep learning curve, but once I got the hang of it, it proved to be incredibly powerful. It enables me to accomplish tasks that seemed impossible with other email clients. The drag and drop editor is superior and operates more smoothly than others I've used. However, the downside is that it's somewhat expensive. Initially, it can be overwhelming due to its numerous features, but it's just a matter of overcoming the learning curve. I switched to Customer.io because it offers a more comprehensive solution, allowing our marketing team to have greater autonomy in designing email flows and newsletters.

Fraud Alert. Avoid Customer-io.
I believe that customer-io is a scam. They charged us for inactive users and even users without emails! Despite removing them from our code base, they continued to create new profiles and charged us for it.

Slow Email Support, Debugging Challenge with Customer.io!
In my updated review, I acknowledge that the email support of Customer.io is helpful, although I still believe there are many standard features missing compared to other email tools. In my original review, I criticized their customer support for only being available via email and taking over 24 hours to respond. I suggested they should offer live chat or limited use of Zoom or calls. I stressed that if they only provide email support, responses should be within hours, not a day or more.
