I also appreciate the built-in customer data platform, which offers us a comprehensive one-stop solution for analyzing our customer or client data on a large scale. However, it can be difficult for our junior marketing analysts to implement APIs and end-to-end campaigns, so we often need to hire freelancers or professionals. While Klaviyo is easy to set up, scaling likely requires hiring some expertise on an hourly basis. We chose Klaviyo for its customer data platform and switched from ActiveCampaign due to Klaviyo's superior reporting functionalities.

Overall, my experience with Klaviyo has been positive, although I find it a bit pricey. The quality of their product is undeniable and I would recommend it for those with an established email list or plans to grow one quickly. I appreciate their user-friendly email builder and the aesthetically pleasing emails it produces. The ability to customize content based on desktop or mobile usage is a significant advantage. However, I find it slightly irritating that Klaviyo only allows uploading one image at a time. They also bill based on profiles and pull all profiles from your Woocommerce account, regardless of whether they've signed up for emails. When I raised this issue, they suggested reducing the number of profiles on Woocommerce, but that would mean losing valuable customer data in an industry where customer relationships can last for decades.
