Effective & Streamlined Communication via OnBoard for our Board of Trustees
This year, my organization transitioned to the OnBoard Platform for managing our 15-member board of trustees. Communication has become effortless with OnBoard, as it sends automatic meeting notifications to the board. As the Assistant to the President, my job of preparing for board meetings has been simplified with OnBoard. It automatically creates a Meeting Book from the documents I upload. I particularly love the click-on feature in the Open Book format, which allows me to access any document from the table of contents without having to scroll through all the pages. We've already noticed a difference in our meeting preparations and feel like we've finally entered the high tech world without any hassle. Thank you, OnBoard!

(Nearly) Ideal Solution for Board and Committee Management
I have successfully uploaded all our board and committee documentation in one place using OnBoard, making it incredibly easy to update and share with anyone who has access. We no longer need to print hundreds of pages for meetings or the Board Orientation Manual. OnBoard has made our meetings much more fluid. The more we use it, the easier it becomes to leverage. It has plenty of room for expansion, is extremely feature-filled, and has an easy but secure log-on process. The customer satisfaction team is responsive to our suggestions and needs. However, it's not the most intuitive to navigate and the screen re-sizing options could be less clumsy. Printing documents or agendas still requires multiple steps. We chose OnBoard because it met all of our essential requirements and was preferred by our board members. The pricing was within our budget, although on the higher end. We appreciated the unlimited storage and the ability to add users later on. The vendor thanked us for our review and expressed their commitment to innovation.

Swift, Effective, User-Friendly: OnBoard
Before using OnBoard, preparing for Board meetings was a day-long task, involving assembling hard copy books, which also incurred costs for paper and notebooks. Now, I can upload and finalize the Board books in just 60 to 90 minutes, eliminating the need to hand deliver or ship hard copies, especially to traveling members. OnBoard is user-friendly for both me, as an administrator, and the users, accommodating varying levels of tech expertise. Since switching to OnBoard in October 2014, our Board meeting preparation process has been streamlined. I value the ability to make last-minute changes to materials, which users can access immediately. It's also more convenient for traveling members, who can access their Board materials from anywhere. During the COVID-19 pandemic, OnBoard has been particularly useful.

OnBoard: A Game Changer for Streamlining Meetings!
I used to create a printed board book for each meeting, which required materials to be submitted well in advance and didn't allow for last-minute changes. However, OnBoard has provided me with the flexibility to make changes right up to the meeting date. Board members can access the virtual board book from anywhere using their preferred device. We also use OnBoard for committee and cabinet meetings and can record any votes directly in the system. I often use the polls/voting feature with the cabinet for minor items that need consensus. Instead of waiting for the next meeting, we upload the necessary documents and send them out for a vote. The results are recorded in OnBoard for future reference, which is especially helpful for any board votes needed during an audit. I appreciate the ease of use and implementation of OnBoard. I've had to do very little individual training with board members, and the customer service has been extremely responsive whenever I or a board member have had an issue. However, I wish we could store more.

OnBoard - Embrace the Ease and Innovation
I thoroughly enjoy using OnBoard. It's user-friendly and was quickly adopted by the end-users. As an admin, I can delegate permissions to various employees, enabling them to upload documents independently. I appreciate the continuous introduction of new features for testing and experimentation. Despite the company's expansion, I haven't observed any negative effects. What I especially adore about OnBoard are the e-signature and approval features. They allow me to create surveys and receive results quicker since users are already familiar with the OnBoard portal. The e-signatures were vital during COVID when we couldn't meet face-to-face but required signatures for document approval. I also value the customer support from my relationship manager who is always receptive to suggestions for product enhancement. Innovation is crucial in a digital world. However, the minutes feature requires enhancement. It might function well for some organizations, but not for me. I dislike how the pre-form automatically generates document links in the meeting minutes and starting from scratch is also a hassle.
