Intuitive Board Management Software
OnBoard was my company's first foray into online meeting management. We chose it because it was user-friendly and met our needs. Over the past 4 years, it has exceeded our expectations. Before OnBoard, we used paper packets for board and committee meetings, which were time-consuming to prepare and update. Transitioning to OnBoard has saved us a lot of time, effort, and resources. Some of our board members, especially the older ones, were initially hesitant to use an electronic platform, but they have all successfully adapted to using OnBoard, including its survey and electronic signature features. New board members are immediately introduced to OnBoard and rarely need help figuring it out because it's so easy to use.

RRTS: A Mixed Experience with User-Friendliness and Customization
The onboard software wasn't as user-friendly as I expected. As a novice user, I found it hard to compare, but it didn't meet the hype. It's not too complicated once you understand it, but the limited instructions were a challenge. I struggled to input a survey with the same answer options for each question. After two days of frustration, I reached out to customer service who told me it was simple. However, I think this information should have been easily accessible in a tutorial or guide. The software also lacks customization options. I couldn't alter the format or look of the printed output, nor could I add items to the agenda unless they were predefined as an agenda item. Sometimes, I just wanted to add a footnote or extra explanation.

The benefits I've gained from using OnBoard for our board management are numerous! From day one, the staff was professional, supportive during implementation, friendly, and always responded quickly. The implementation process was smooth. Our board began using OnBoard and immediately approved of using the portal for all board management. As the main administrator and developer of the portal, I've enjoyed the entire process and love all aspects of OnBoard and its team. They offer continuous training webinars and tutorials for new users and are innovative, seeking client feedback and desired features for implementation. I've recommended OnBoard to others and would strongly endorse it to anyone considering board management software. Some of the significant features include creating the agenda from a Word document, accessing Zoom links from OnBoard, an enhanced calendar, and a Resource Library. It's user-friendly and new features, upgrades, and improvements are continually being implemented. The integration was flawless.

I have been using online board books for over 6 years and switched to OnBoard last year. The transition from hard copy materials to digital has saved significant time and money. However, the switch to OnBoard has made everyone's days more efficient. OnBoard serves as a one-stop shop for my board members, making their service to our organization more professional and my service to them much easier and less time-consuming. The customer service at OnBoard is exceptional, taking every concern and suggestion seriously. The program is user-friendly and quick to implement, allowing users to be set up in minutes. There is a built-in resources section which makes the app an all-in-one portal for users. However, there is a slight lag time in building agendas and I would appreciate more customization in the emails sent, the agenda templates, and table of contents template. I chose OnBoard for its easy to understand annual fee, clear features, and their willingness to expand their offerings based on our needs.

Superior Tool for Streamlined Board Management
My experience with OnBoard has been excellent. The learning curve is short and the feedback from board members has been overwhelmingly positive. They appreciate the ability to find all organizational information in one portal. The ability to manage meetings, documents, and communication through a single portal is one of OnBoard's strongest features. The biggest challenge has been getting the board to adopt the system. Some members were initially intimidated by its cloud-based nature, but even the most reluctant have found it easy to use.
