Streamlining Crucial Data Collection with Ease
I appreciate the ability to create surveys on Form Assembly as it simplifies the process for respondents and provides me with clean, well-organized data. I enjoy the feature of creating multiple-choice questions with "radio buttons" and reusing the same answer options for various questions. However, I find that editing or adding questions later can disrupt the answers. Unless I delete and re-input the questions and answer choices, the formatting becomes completely disorganized.

Flexible Form Creator with a Steep Learning Curve
FormAssembly has a steep learning curve and requires a lot of self-teaching and trial and error. However, I often use their customer support and find them excellent to work with. They're always ready to help with troubleshooting or direct me to useful resources. The software isn't the most intuitive and it takes time to understand the tool and menu bars. Despite its high functionality, I feel the forms I create look somewhat plain and unprofessional. They do provide templates, but I think designers with CSS knowledge could improve this software. A minor annoyance is that if you delete all the text in a text box, it sometimes exits the form without saving your progress, which can be frustrating.

Insights from a FormAssembly Power User
Our main issue was linking with our Salesforce CRM, but Formassembly assisted us in data capture and process streamlining. Its integration with Salesforce is vital for us. We desire a draft mode for altering forms in production, enabling us to confirm changes before deployment. At present, we duplicate the form, make modifications, validate it, and then return to the form to implement the changes. We transitioned to FormAssembly due to unique features only available on this platform.

Outstanding Survey Solution!
I find FormAssembly to be a fantastic tool that I use for designing, building, and sending surveys to customers. It can connect with CRM software for automatic sending and recording of responses, and it also has reporting capabilities, allowing me to see metrics on each question/response, response rate, etc. I appreciate FormAssembly's user interface - it's very easy to design a survey and connect with Salesforce from a back-end perspective. There are many types of question formats to choose from and validation rules to ensure correct information input by the end-user. However, after setting up the connection with Salesforce, my client found it difficult to edit form fields - they ended up breaking some things. The complexity could be reduced to make it more user-friendly. We switched to FormAssembly due to its interface and price. I appreciate the feedback, Laine, and the vendor responded in June 2021.
