Endorsal's Appeal Diminished by Poor Performance and Unresponsive Founders
I was initially drawn to endorsal because of its fresh and appealing design. However, I've been let down by the poor attitude of the founders and their consistent lack of care. The software is easy to set up and offers a decent testimonial collection form and several ready formats for displaying testimonials on a website. But, the coding is subpar. The DOM Tree depth and the number of DOM elements dramatically increase, causing significant bloat and negatively affecting website speed and performance. Despite being in operation for a while, the endorsal team seems to overlook basic necessities like activating the HTTP2.0 protocol, deploying a proper CDN, and optimizing images. The worst part is the founders' attitude. They delete any critical posts on their Facebook group and ask you to post on their support chat instead. From there, they avoid the issue for weeks, refusing to commit to a timeline for implementing basic efficiency improvements, claiming that GTMetrix is not a perfect tool.

It's versatile and suitable for any type of business, whether B2B or B2C, and offers white label options. However, I've noticed a few minor bugs and the documentation could be improved, especially regarding advanced settings. The initial setup seems to use a lot of browser resources, but this doesn't impact user performance. I chose Endorsal because it was featured on AppSumo, seemed to have a strong team behind it, and offered white label options.

I'm particularly fond of the 'Wall of Love' feature for websites, which is simple to implement and customize, giving it a highly professional appearance. It automatically posts new reviews as soon as a customer submits them. With the white label, I can even operate my own reviews business for my clients. However, the learning curve can be somewhat steep. It can be complex and overwhelming to set it up, especially for non-tech savvy business owners who don't have access to their hosting server or lack basic knowledge of cPanel.
