More Than Just Project Management! Excellent Time Tracking and Client Reporting!
I appreciate the time tracking feature of ActiveCollab as it allows us to monitor our time down to the specific task within projects and label each project by client. We can invoice clients based on the time we've specifically tracked for each task and project. This tracking also allows us to report to our clients, even informing them of the time spent on each task. The customer service is also impressive. When a team member suggested new features or revised functionality, updates were made fairly quickly. However, I would prefer a different organization of the projects, ideally by client on the main page. The main page is currently less organized than I would like. We switched to ActiveCollab because we needed some different and more advanced features.

Effortless and Comprehensive: ActiveCollab Experience
I used ActiveCollab for six years and found it very beneficial. Its simple database structure enabled us to create dashboards with user data. However, it lacked features such as kanban and user interface improvements during updates. We chose ActiveCollab for its affordable price and easy maintenance. We switched from Jira to ActiveCollab because Jira was too complicated and hard to maintain, particularly back in 2009.

The software, ActiveCollab, is extremely user-friendly. Our team particularly appreciates the Gantt charts and task list mode for their organization. It offers numerous beneficial features like time tracking and invoicing, which greatly simplify our work and boost our productivity. We can't envision our daily collaboration with remote teams and clients without ActiveCollab.

Overall, I appreciate ActiveCollab, but I wish I could love it more. It has a lot of potential and room for improvement, and I hope they consider people's suggestions and needs. However, I still highly recommend ActiveCollab, particularly for web designers like myself who manage hundreds of sites. I chose ActiveCollab a few years ago after researching and trying out all the project management software I could find. I was drawn to ActiveCollab for several reasons. Firstly, its interface is simple, practical, and visually appealing, unlike other software that I found overly complicated. I also appreciated how my projects could be displayed and searched, which is crucial when managing hundreds of projects. Secondly, ActiveCollab's excellent customer service was a big plus, always there to help when I had issues or questions. This reassured me that I was in good hands. Lastly, they offered some additional features that I found beneficial.

Fantastic tool!
I've been using Active Collab for 3 months in my new team. It has all the essential features for a smooth workflow, including instant push and email notifications, Timesheet and Stopwatches, which help me manage my time across various tasks. I'm struggling to find anything I'm not happy with and I haven't encountered any issues or bugs with the software. Bravo!

Excellent Tool for Streamlined Project Management
ActiveCollab is a vital tool in organizing my daily life and offers robust options for organization and streamlining processes that even my clients can utilize. As part of a creative agency, swift and efficient communication with our clients is crucial, and ActiveCollab facilitates this. We use it to establish standard brief templates for every project, smoothing the process. The time tracker is excellent and provides an easy way to monitor time. I value the email notifications, particularly the ability to respond to comments via email. The support staff is always accessible and helpful. The invoicing functionality is impressive, but it could use some improvements in sorting and display capabilities. My wife has pointed out that the app lacks functionality, but I haven't used it much personally. I find the 'Notes', 'Files', and 'Discussions' tabs a bit random and confusing for clients. I would also appreciate a feature that integrates something like Slack into Active Collab, so we can completely transition away from Skype.
