As a hiring manager, I have found ZipRecruiter to be an overall excellent resource for the recruitment process. In particular, I like their matching algorithm. When hiring in specialized IT positions, ZipRecruiter quickly identified candidates who have the exact talent required for the position - something I took for granted and that ultimately saved me time screening irrelevant resumes. I was able to immediately focus on those candidates that seemed promising to interview.
I also like the system and workflow of how ZipRecruiter allows candidates to easily apply to positions. In a number of instances, I received feedback from candidates that mentioned they were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to apply to our job via ZipRecruiter. This ease of use clearly improved the overall applicant experience, but also afforded us a greater number of applicants that we could manage well.
However, I had a larger volume of just, when my company was growing fast and had to fill a number of roles at the same time, it would have been helpful to more easily integrate ZipRecruiter with my ATS system to make the process easier (which does create a slight delay, but ultimately it did resolve all of my issues). In addition, the large number of applicants across the various platforms caused a bit of overwhelm and required some additional administrative follow-up.
That said, the customer success team at ZipRecruiter has always been responsive to me when I have faced issues. For example, I had a problem integrating ZipRecruiter and when I contacted customer service, the representative took me step by step until we resolved the issue successfully and quickly.
In summary, my review of ZipRecruiter remains favorable, because of its strong candidate matching capability, its design & workflow are very user-friendly, and the best customer service. There are some areas for improvements, specifically, the account integration, but I will continue to use ZipRecruiter as one of my go-to recruitment sites.

I found ZipRecruiter to be extremely professional and helpful. It paired me with job positions that matched my qualifications, saving me a lot of time as I didn't have to complete every application for each job I applied for. The site offers a one-click option which simplified the application process. I appreciated everything about the site, from assisting me in creating a resume to finding job openings that matched my experience. There was nothing I disliked about it. I switched to ZipRecruiter because I found it more beneficial and easier to manage. The vendor responded warmly, expressing joy that I found the platform user-friendly and wishing me success in my job hunt. They also offered help if needed.

High Cost, High Value: ZipRecruiter Delivers!
My overall experience with ZipRecruiter has been mostly positive. I find the service easy to use and very helpful when I need to quickly find job applicants. Its ability to instantly post job openings to multiple job boards allows me to receive a large number of resumes in just a few days. However, I find ZipRecruiter to be quite expensive and I don't maintain a continuous subscription. I've also had some issues when switching between my employer and personal accounts. I switched to ZipRecruiter because it posts jobs on a much larger network of job boards.

Excellent Balance for Job Hunting
I have been using ZipRecruiter for several years and it has assisted me in establishing genuine connections with potential employers. It is faster and simpler to use than Indeed or CareerBuilder, and it promptly displays related jobs or facilitates one-click applications. Even though it's not as big as Indeed or LinkedIn, it's an excellent alternative. I switched to ZipRecruiter because Indeed's multiple postings page was filled with old posts and its distance search feature was not very useful or accurate. I received a response from Dionne from Tier 2 Support, a vendor, who was pleased that ZipRecruiter was beneficial for my job search and assured me that their team is always ready to provide support.

Challenging Setup and Integration for Greenhouse ATS Users
My experience with ZipRecruiter was highly disappointing. I couldn't gauge its effectiveness due to several issues I faced during the process. The only feature that worked well for me was the resume search database. However, I couldn't evaluate its effectiveness as a recruiting tool due to problems during account setup. The initial setup of our account and integration with our ATS, Greenhouse, was frustrating. We had three different Account Managers in two months, each giving inconsistent information. We faced numerous issues with account setup and their ability to scrape our jobs from our ATS correctly. We decided to stop using it in mid to late August 2019 due to unresolved issues with our account. The platform supposedly fine-tunes its targeting of the "ideal" applicant based on your rating of applicants, but for companies with a large hiring volume, it becomes time-consuming to manage applicants in both an ATS and ZipRecruiter. We didn't choose ZipRecruiter over.
