Indeed allows individuals to post reviews on company pages without verifying the substance of their comments. In fact, even after addressing this issue with them, Indeed deliberately allows old reviews that criticize the company for being under a certain collective agreement (which we are imposed upon, so the company cannot do much about it) to pollute the reviews, and temporary workers complain about not having meal vouchers (this is decided by their temporary agency). As a result, our company is being rated poorly (while all our other reviews are positive, 5/5) and their policy of not removing reviews is absurd. Furthermore, the company cannot verify the identity of the authors, so it could very well be the competition tarnishing our reputation!

I've found my last two jobs on Indeed, one of which I held for three years and the other I've just started. I recommend creating an application and a cover letter, even if you don't want to, and start applying. It's one of the easiest job-board sites I've used and it's the go-to site for anyone I know who's job hunting. It's a great way to find the job you're looking for.

The website automatically filters out candidates based on preset qualifications, saving me time on candidates I don't want to proceed with. It also allows me to easily contact those I'm interested in. However, the website can sometimes be a bit clunky, causing issues with loading, restarting lists, or delayed message sending. This can be frustrating when I'm in a hurry, but the benefits greatly outweigh these minor issues.
