Perfect Solution for Freelancers and Small Businesses
I've had an incredibly positive experience with Wave Accounting over the past three years. As a freelancer, I've found it to be invaluable, offering simplicity, smooth operation, and excellent value for money. I've even recommended it to other freelancers and small businesses. Setting up Wave is straightforward and its interface is user-friendly. Even without a financial background, I find it easy to navigate. The pricing is fair, with no hidden costs or subscriptions, just a reasonable percentage taken from invoice payments. In my three years of using Wave, I've never encountered any surprise fees. Wave also provides a variety of reporting and tracking tools, which I've found to be extremely useful. A standout feature for freelancers is the immediate money transfers. Once an invoice is paid, the money is in Wave and takes 2-3 days to transfer. For a small additional fee, you can expedite the transfer.

UK Users Require More from Wave Accounting
As a UK customer, I used Wave Accounting for about 4 years and found it very user-friendly and easy to reconcile accounts. However, it was difficult to search for old invoices and the inability to electronically send VAT returns to HMRC was a major drawback, which led us to switch accounting software.

Effortless Accounting with Wave
I value that Wave Accounting is free with unlimited accounts and customizable templates. However, I'm let down by the lack of online support for free users and absence of third-party integration solutions.
