Appreciating New Relic's Secure Login Session System and Potential for Enhancement
I'm really impressed with New Relic's commitment to security with their login session system. Every time I open my browser, I get to log in again, ensuring that my account is always secure. Occasionally, I encounter a page that says Active session limit reached, which means I have to manually delete one of the previous three sessions to continue. Their support team explained that this unique session handling is for security reasons, which I appreciate. My browser sets the cookies expiration time to session, which lasts until I close it. However, the server keeps all sessions until they're manually deleted and limits their number. This essentially gives me control over my session management, which is a great feature. When I reached out to their support, they confirmed that this is a feature and suggested that I manually log out from the webpage before closing the browser. This is a good practice to ensure the security of my account, and I appreciate their advice. In my view, New Relic has a great opportunity to enhance this feature. If they maintain the login requirement on each browser restart and the session limit, they could automatically close the oldest session. If the browser detects that the session has been closed, it could display a warning and then redirect the user to the front page. This would make the user experience even smoother while maintaining the high level of security. I'm excited to see how they continue to innovate in this area!

Optimize Your App with NewRelic's Comprehensive Monitoring
I am utilizing NewRelic to monitor the performance of my application. It's an outstanding tool with a plethora of features, even in its free version. However, for larger applications, an upgrade may be required. The most impressive aspect of this software is its capacity to provide in-depth insights. It has a 'VM' feature that provides information about garbage collection, heap, memory allocations, object allocations, and more. Error insights and alerts keep me informed about the current status of my application. The mobile app is also quite useful, offering the same features, allowing me to receive insights directly on my phone even while on the move. Parameters such as Appdex score, RPM, and others are crucial in identifying and optimizing bottlenecks. It also shows which database query is taking more time and which part of my application is more time-consuming, aiding me in creating a more efficient application. Occasionally, the metrics provided in the VM section appear incorrect, but a hard refresh of the page usually fixes this issue.

An Excellent Resource for Monitoring Your App's Performance
I consider New Relic to be one of the top tools for monitoring my app's performance. It's beneficial in evaluating the performance of different APIs and can pinpoint which API is causing my system to slow down, signaling an urgent need for optimization. It also helps identify which front-end page is slowing down my app by measuring the page's load time. However, I find the bar charts to be confusing due to a lack of clear definitions.
