      Right from the Start!

      As one of the first Canadian users of simPRO, before they established their US presence, I found them to be incredibly accommodating. Despite the time difference, they went above and beyond to ensure our implementation went smoothly, even coming in to work early to catch us at the end of our day. Once we went live, they were very responsive to our change requests. simPRO Enterprise is functional and constantly improving. It's quick to load and easy to navigate. The level of customer service and attention to user requests during our setup and subsequent upgrades was impressive. There is a learning curve, but with a competent implementation team, it's manageable. We switched to simPRO because of its online and remote usability, which was a significant advantage for our company. QuickBooks Online just wasn't there yet. In response to my review, simPRO thanked me and reminded me to reach out to their Customer Support team or visit their Help Guide if I ever need additional help.

      Excellent SMB Solution with Simpro

      I find Simpro to be quite good. The support improved when it transitioned from Australia to local US support. However, things have regressed since the representative left, and the support isn't the same. I believe this is largely due to the representative's extensive experience with implementations. The software is easy to use, functional, and easy to scale up and down. However, I dislike that I can't remove the ability for security groups to download whatever is on the screen, which poses a significant data security issue. I should be able to limit employees' ability to download a CSV file from any screen, which could potentially expose my pipeline, customer list, etc. to anyone. This lack of control makes the product almost unusable due to our own customers' security requirements. I chose Simpro because the fire testing portion of the product seemed to be the best we looked at. We switched from Dice Matrix's integrated service platform because it didn't offer full end-to-end functionality for our security/fire.

      Implementing simPRO has been a key contributor to our growth over the past five years. It has given us insight into job costing throughout projects, enabling us to identify and tackle issues earlier. The software allows us to track a project from start to finish, including all job purchases, labor entries, customer invoices, and payment statuses. This has freed up management to focus on strategic growth initiatives. I value the ability to track a job/project through the entire process, from lead generation to final invoice. The inventory management features are a significant upgrade over our previous methods. However, the user interface could be improved to make accessing information more intuitive. I chose Simpro because it was developed by someone with contractor experience, which I believed would more effectively address our specific challenges. We switched to Simpro from CW because CW was not effective at managing our materials inventory.
