Fons: A Game Changer in Business Management
As a vocal coach, I've struggled for years to find a convenient way to bill my students, particularly when enforcing my 24-hour notice cancellation policy. I didn't want to lose students or have uncomfortable conversations with them. Fons has completely resolved this issue for me. Since I started using Fons, I've never received a complaint about my policy and I've never missed a payment because Fons takes care of it for me. I've also never lost a student because of it. I now earn $300-$400 a month from cancellations that I wouldn't have been paid for before using Fons. Fons serves as a middleman for me and makes everything so simple. I have no real complaints. The customer service is always asking how to improve the product and they've actually implemented several suggestions I've made.

Every time I've encountered a problem or had a question, the team has always been there to assist me, and they're real people, which is really great. It's incredibly seamless to see my money flowing into my bank account without the need to deposit numerous checks. I value the fact that people can pay me through various methods such as a monthly subscription, a package, or by appointment. Fons keeps a record of all my appointments with each client, removing the uncertainty of duration and frequency. This allows me to concentrate on my work rather than tracking payments. However, I wish I could input more client information myself, particularly if they have more than one child. I chose Fons because I heard about it on a piano/music teaching podcast and decided to give it a try because the owner is a music teacher himself. I love it, although I still need to figure out my charging system. The vendor responded to my review, expressing their gratitude and mentioning that they're working on a way for me to add more client information myself.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Fons and have received excellent assistance from their customer service when needed. The ability to auto-schedule and bill my clients all in one place has been a game changer, saving me a lot of time and energy. My only complaint is the significant price increase from less than $100 per year to over $300 per year. Despite this, I still see the value in the software and rely heavily on it. I just wish there was a more affordable option for people like me who don't have any employees and are the sole administrators. In response to my review, the vendor thanked me for my feedback and explained that the cost reflects their commitment to providing real-life customer support, a platform built by top engineers in the US, and a truly professional solution. They also mentioned that they are always working on ways to keep the cost down.
