Distrust in Data and Payment Security with this Company
I had a disappointing experience with ProjectManager.com. I dismissed the software within half an hour of the trial due to its significant lack of quality. Despite this, they continued to bill me for several months after the "free trial" ended without any communication. It seemed like they were only interested in my money, not in delivering a quality product. They charged my credit card for a service I wasn't aware I was subscribed to, without any invoices or communication. I found the product to be mediocre at best, which is why I chose not to use it after spending about 20 minutes in the system. It felt like the company was just releasing the minimum viable product and using free trial scam tactics to boost their revenue. I can't imagine any company that values their data would want to associate with them. When I discovered these transactions, it took days to close my account. I'm concerned about the level of customer service I would receive to resolve any issues or bugs if I were a paying customer.

Requires Assistance with Educational Features
At first glance, the program seems promising and well-structured for easy use and quick interpretation of schedules. However, that's where the simplicity ends. Inputting data, understanding and creating Gantt charts, importing people, and generally the overall use of the program is TERRIBLE. Any attempt to find instructions or do research is met with little to no information. The Microsoft application included in Excel is more user-friendly than this program. If they improve the user interface and educational references, they could have a decent project program.

It also helps us manage time consistently for events and tasks, particularly when setting performance expectations for new team members. However, we find its report customizations and forecasts limited and have encountered some issues with the international interface.

Decent, Yet Room for Improvement
I can manage multiple projects of any duration using this software and I particularly enjoy the dashboards. However, it doesn't support real-time interaction with team members on a timeline, which can lead to loss of data if changes are made simultaneously by different people. This has happened to me, even recently. I also believe the reports could be more dynamic and the APIs could use some improvement. Currently, it doesn't support custom fields unless the project is closed. The vendor responded to my feedback in November 2017, appreciating my comments and expressing their love for the dashboard as well.

Outstanding SaaS Solution for Project Management
I consider ProjectManager.com to be a well-executed and smooth Online/SaaS solution for project management. It claims to have all the features of Microsoft Project and indeed delivers on that promise. I particularly appreciate the online Gantt chart, which outperforms other solutions I've tried in terms of performance and ease of use. It's robust and allows for the import of existing data from Office. I also find the built-in reporting very useful, especially when managing larger teams. The ability to do time sheets and workload inspection/management gives me a comprehensive overview of my team's activities and availability for assigning work. The different pricing plans cater well to various feature requirements and team sizes. I feel I'm getting great value from using the service, especially when compared to the inconvenience of using isolated desktop products as an alternative and having to share MS Project documents. In response to my review, the vendor thanked me for my kind words.
