I've been using the software, Mangopay, and initially, I found it to be quite satisfactory. They have a unique security measure in place where they ask for front and back copies of either a driving license or passport. While this might seem a bit daunting, it's actually a testament to their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of their users. Mangopay is a French company and Vinted is based in Lithuania, both operating under the watchful eye of the European Data Protection Agency. This gives me peace of mind knowing that my personal data is being handled with the utmost care and in accordance with stringent European data protection laws. I've had some queries about the ID process and the payment threshold and frequency, and while I'm still waiting for a response, I appreciate that these companies are likely dealing with a high volume of queries. I'm confident that they will get back to me in due course. Currently, they are holding £8 of my sales pending the ID check, but I see this as a necessary step in ensuring the security of all transactions. They've already taken their seller fees, which is standard practice in most online marketplaces. While it's true that Vinted only accepts documents that could potentially be used for identity fraud, I see this as a stringent security measure rather than a risk. They refuse to accept documents like birth certificates, which are easier to forge, further emphasizing their commitment to security. I'm looking forward to continuing my journey with Mangopay and Vinted. I've been able to make some money selling unwanted clothes, and the security measures in place make me feel safe and secure. I'm excited to see what the future holds with these platforms!

And as for Mangopay, they've given me a chance to exercise my problem-solving skills. It's been a bit of a challenge, but I'm confident we'll find a solution soon. One surprising twist was when my account on Vendora was deleted without prior notice. It was a shock, but it also reminded me of the importance of keeping personal records of important information. It's a lesson I'll carry with me in the future. I've even thought about using social media to share my experiences and stand up for consumer rights. It's a great platform for raising awareness and I'm excited about the potential impact. I've also considered seeking legal advice, which is a new and interesting avenue for me.
