Journeying Through Egnyte: A User's Perspective
I use Egnyte for sharing, accessing, and uploading/downloading files both within and outside my office. While it serves its purpose on some days, I personally find it less seamless than other platforms. I do appreciate its cloud-based nature and mobile sharing capabilities, which simplify sharing files across different office locations. However, I don't consider it the best content sharing platform I've used. It struggles to integrate well with Google and can sometimes be confusing to use. The vendor has responded to my feedback, stating that they are constantly updating and improving their integrations, including with Google's suite of products. They also provided links to the latest benefits, features, and enhancements of their G Suite integration, as well as additional training on their apps and integrations at Egnyte University.

I've been using Egnyte for my small business for the past half a year and have found it simple to navigate, with the capability to store and access my files from anywhere. I value its integration with other business tools like Google Drive and Microsoft Office, and I've synced all my devices to it for a more streamlined workflow. However, I've run into a few problems. The cost can be high for small businesses, particularly for large data storage. The search function could be better as it's been inconsistent at times. Customer service could be more prompt, and there have been moments of platform downtime, which can be annoying.
