      Superior Project and Resource Management Solution: Avaza

      I have tried various project and resource management tools such as Trello, Airtable, and Monday.com, but Avaza is the only one that allows me to create projects, estimate hours, manage capacity, and track time all on the same platform without extensive configuration. I was able to set up Avaza quickly using an existing project spreadsheet. I appreciate that it combines resource and project management into one tool, making it perfect for small design studios and agencies needing to assess their employees' capacity to take on new projects, including considering holiday/vacation time. I use Avaza to create project estimates for clients, knowing I can easily import from a spreadsheet and adjust the timeline/dependencies once the project is confirmed, all on the free plan. However, the user interface could be better. Some aspects, like the top toolbar design and the project navigation menu, don't provide the best user experience. My only complaint is that it's difficult to bulk-edit tasks and impossible to do so with CSV import.

      As a team member, I find Avaza to be an excellent tool for managing numerous interrelated tasks across various projects. It effectively tracks time for teams, individual work hours, and even smaller tasks and subtasks. We primarily use Avaza for project management and tasks, and it has significantly reduced the time we spend on mundane tasks each week. It closely tracks and evaluates our actions, helping us identify bottlenecks and other issues. Avaza is crucial for the smooth operation of our Admin, BD, and TS departments. However, I find the quoting mechanism lacks the flexibility we need. I wish large projects could be broken down into stages and that screenshots of attached images could be displayed in the chat window. We switched to Avaza to keep track of all our projects, timesheets, and bills. It's now essential to our business and I anticipate its role will continue to grow. The product and its customer service are commendably simple and helpful. I've tried several other project management tools, but Avaza stands out.

However, customizing invoices can be a bit of a hit and miss. I wish when I changed the invoice display, it would remove the current content and replace it with the new format, rather than duplicating it. I switched to Avaza because of its cost-effectiveness and the ability to add multiple organizations for billing.
