SEMRush also has a lot of on-page SEO tools, like their site audit. This will help you identify areas of improvement for your site, and rank better on the SERP. Spyfu doesn't help with on-page optimization.
Besides the tools missing from Spyfu, SEMRush also has more in-depth analytics, and better reporting tools. If you’re an agency and you need detailed breakdowns for your clients, SEMRush is the better choice. But Spyfu also supports white labeling, so it’s not a bad pick either.

Semrush: The SEO Simplifier for Beginners
Semrush has proven to be extremely beneficial for my team, particularly in performing audits for potential clients and generating interest. It provides a vast amount of detailed information in an easily comprehensible way, even for those who are not SEO experts. However, despite being one of the best in a competitive market, it does seem a bit expensive. The value it offers is unquestionable and it's continually improving, but the cost of licenses can accumulate, especially for a large team like ours. We transitioned to Semrush from Spyfu because, although Spyfu is excellent, it didn't provide a comprehensive summary in one location. Another team tested Semrush and found it to be an incredibly user-friendly tool.

Four-Year Customer Feels Cheated by Semrush
I feel betrayed by Semrush, a service I've been loyal to for 4 years. We've always managed with one user, but due to remote working and some confusion, we accidentally logged in from different locations. This resulted in our account being suspended, which I understand. However, the only 'solution' they offered was to buy an extra user for €540, which we don't need. I explained it was a mistake and that one user has always been enough for us, but the only way to regain access to our account is by paying €540. They also refused to refund the unused service. This feels like extortion. The representative who was 'assisting' me only suggested this unnecessary upsell. It's disheartening to be treated this way after 4 years of loyalty. I would recommend SeRanking instead. It's much cheaper, offers similar features, and they won't trick you into unwanted upsells. Semrush does have many features.
