As an early stage startup on a tight budget, I find MailerSend to be an excellent tool for managing email services. I believe this software is fantastic and I would highly recommend it to other early stage startups. Its customizable templates are well designed and it's very developer-friendly, with easy deployment and convenient placement of CTAs. Replacing dynamic content is straightforward and triggering emails is a simple process. However, there are a few downsides. The analytics and reports often provide incorrect timings, and the startup plan only includes three email templates without a duplicate option. Additionally, emails often end up in spam or promotions, and the settings page can be confusing. I chose MailerSend because the templates met our needs and it's very developer-friendly. I switched to MailerSend because other services offered fewer options, emails were going to spam, and I found MailerSend to be a step ahead in addressing these issues.

Decisions Influenced by Choices: The Downfall of User Experience
My initial experience with MailerSend was positive, until they began removing key features that I had spent significant time integrating into my setup, in my case, two years of work. I believe that users should be prioritized and any major changes should not negatively affect those who have been loyal from the beginning. I'm not here to endorse this software, as I'm concerned that any beneficial features they introduce today may be removed in the future, often without any solid reasoning, just influenced by third parties. This makes all features unreliable, as I may be prevented from using them in the future. I find the decision-making process of the people behind the software unfair, as it impacts real-life users who have invested a lot of time into their products. There's a total disconnect with how we use the product and a significant lack of integrity. In response to my concerns, the vendor asked me to continue the discussion via email in May 2022.

I am extremely satisfied with Mailersend and look forward to moving up the pricing tiers as we grow. After being disappointed with Mailchimp, finding Mailersend and Mailerlite has been a blessing. The layout is clear, it integrates with Zapier, and any issues I've had were quickly resolved by their friendly and personal support team. It's perfect for small businesses like ours that want to automate their emailing as much as possible. The pricing plan is also very fair for small businesses. Most importantly, all emails are landing in inboxes. So far, everything is good and I'm excited to explore more. I chose MailerSend because we are not a large company and don't need extremely complex functionality. We don't want to deal with large companies that take days to respond with generic support responses, and we don't want complex pricing models.
