IBM Cloud and AWS are two of the most prominent players in the competitive landscape of cloud computing services, each offering a distinct set of features and capabilities tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses.

One key difference between IBM Cloud and AWS lies in their approach to hybrid cloud solutions. IBM Cloud places a strong emphasis on hybrid cloud deployments, allowing businesses to seamlessly integrate their on-premises infrastructure with cloud resources. This hybrid cloud strategy enables organizations to leverage the benefits of both private and public cloud environments, ensuring flexibility, scalability, and security. In contrast, while AWS does offer some hybrid cloud solutions, its primary focus is on providing scalable and reliable public cloud services. While AWS does provide tools and services for hybrid cloud deployments, its offerings in this area may not be as comprehensive as IBM Cloud's.

      IBM: An Exceptional Business Ally

As a business partner, IBM was the best I ever had. I utilized their software to connect my remote employees to my architectural firm's servers and to each other. We shared our work products and progress documentation with our clients, their legal advisors, regulators, and contractors throughout the planning, design, and construction of public convention facilities. Despite being a small firm, we were able to undertake big projects thanks to the fortune 5 tools and service provided by IBM. From the early days of OS2 until my retirement in 215, IBM was instrumental in making my architectural firm's business plan a success. In my opinion, there is no one better than IBM.

IBM Cloud: The Rising Star in the CSP Arena

I have utilized IBM Cloud's bare metal servers and they are expanding quickly, poised to compete with other big names. They are the only provider that offers bare metal servers on a subscription basis. I value their high availability, flexibility, and swift performance. Their pricing is also very flexible. However, I think their dashboard and monitoring feature could be better. I also observed a lack of integration with other major services.

      Excellent Cloud Platform

I think IBM Cloud is a good platform. It minimizes downtime and fixes bugs almost instantly. However, I feel the support for free users is poor. Despite this, I would still recommend it to my colleagues.

Significant Improvements in IBM Cloud's Billing System

Update 12/5/222: I'm thrilled to report that there's been a significant improvement in the billing system! It now takes about 3-6 days for service items changes to reflect on the actual invoice when billed in local currency. This is a huge step forward! --- IBM has been working tirelessly to integrate their invoicing platforms, and I've noticed a positive change. I had a minor issue with incorrect charges on my card, but after reporting it to IBM support ref CS2771133, they were quick to address it. It's clear that IBM is committed to getting things right, which gives me confidence in their ability to handle even more complex projects. I would highly recommend giving IBM Cloud a try!
