Affordable, Decent Performance, Value for Money with Scaleway.
I have been using Scaleway intermittently for over 8 years. They are improving, but I believe they should focus on their strengths, such as their affordable services. Their customer support is slow and generally unhelpful, but it's what I expect for the price. I use Scaleway for development projects or temporary tasks. The performance is average, again reflecting the price. Their image marketplace could be improved in my opinion. I wouldn't use the platform for anything related to production, business, or important tasks. I continue to use them because they are cheap and meet my needs for casual use.

Affordable and Dependable Hosting with Scaleway
Scaleway is a great hosting platform, particularly for small hobbyist developers like myself. It's extremely affordable and dependable, being notably less expensive than its competitors. I've never had any downtime, except for one occasion due to my own misunderstanding. The SSH key synchronization across all instances is very useful. I do wish the role was automatically set up without needing a root password, but this is a minor issue. I primarily chose Scaleway because it's much more cost-effective than other options.

Trustworthy, Affordable Server Farm with Superior Service: Scaleway
Overall, I now only set up servers on Scaleway. The service and prices are excellent, and I highly recommend it. My favorite feature is the ease of deployment, including in the API, and the excellent hourly pricing - if I don't use it, I don't pay. This is really convenient for software developers like me who want to test and try various options without committing too much. They also offer a range of complementary services, like their S3 service, physical servers, and more. I must also mention their built-in firewall, which stops attacks even before they reach the server. This is really comfortable and excellent. Unfortunately, there is no option to build a server from ISO, and it lacks the option of installing a Windows server, which can be really important. Additionally, it would have been nice if it was possible to increase the main HD instead of connecting an external HD. I chose Scaleway mainly because of its simplicity of operation.

From the moment I placed my order to the provisioning of my VPS, everything was automated with Scaleway. I found their customer service to be pleasant and friendly. As a server admin, I appreciate their all-in-one solution which includes high-quality VPS at the lowest possible price, flexible IPs, free internal networking, and S3 compatible object storage. These features have significantly eased my development process. I particularly like their dedicated and free firewall where I can define custom rules based on port ranges and IP ranges. However, I noticed that the price of their dev-s server has almost doubled due to increased R&D costs. While I understand this, I would appreciate if Scaleway could offer a cheaper solution like before, perhaps with a lower server configuration such as 1GB RAM or 512M RAM and 1 processor. I would also like to see live server load for the past 7-10 days without having to install any third-party software. I switched to Scaleway because they offer better. I want you to speak in the first person.

Scaleway is genuinely one of the most proactive services I've ever used. They regularly conduct maintenance on their servers, ensuring that everything is up-to-date and running smoothly. I was pleasantly surprised when I logged into the backend and noticed an IP migration. At first, I thought it was an IP failure, but upon clicking on it, it seamlessly switched to a flexible IP. Although there was a fee involved, I was impressed by the automatic transition and the cancellation of my original public IP. This design is incredibly innovative and keeps you on your toes.
