I switched to GanttPRO because MS 365 was not user-friendly and I had trouble downloading and finding the app.

My university group and I decided to use GanttPro instead of MS Project to help us stay on track and meet report deadlines. It's been an excellent tool so far! It's very user-friendly, and their video tutorials were extremely helpful in understanding all the available functions. It provides all the essential elements we need, such as assigning resources, costs, and setting a baseline. This tool has allowed us to save time and focus more on the project work rather than creating a management tool, which is how it should be! I would definitely recommend this to students as MS Project is more expensive and can be more difficult to learn.

It possessed all the features I needed for a simple Gantt chart with minimal complexities. I could create custom fields and add resources with ease. I navigated through the program swiftly and found everything I needed. However, I wished to customize the Gantt view without having to see the week numbers, just the dates. I also missed the ability for the duration to be in days instead of hours. I switched to GanttPRO because other options were more complex to use and their settings were too restrictive. Their formats were also more congested and crowded.

I have been using GanttPRO for a university project for the past 2 weeks. It has been extremely useful for my friends and me, allowing us to assign tasks to each other and ensure that we are making progress in our project. I appreciate its hands-on approach, with no overly complicated menus, and my team was able to start planning our project quickly. For instance, you can simply slide tasks on the calendar to change their start and end dates. You can also add custom columns in the table on the left panel. For all these reasons, I recommend GanttPro for project management.

I find this tool, ganttpro, very helpful in performing any task related to Project Management. I think its main advantage is its online collaboration feature, which makes work more efficient and reduces communication losses. I also value its intuitive nature, which is great for new users or those without experience with project management software, as it allows them to complete their work without wasting time learning complex software. I also find the price to be very reasonable given the amount of work it helps to accomplish. However, I wish it had the ability to export projects as MS Project documents. I switched to GanttPRO from Project Libre because the latter didn't offer the option to work with a team.
