EmailOctopus: A Must-Have for Authors and Bloggers
I've had a fantastic experience using EmailOctopus for my email marketing campaigns. The platform is user-friendly and efficient, offering a wide range of templates and the ability to create custom ones. I value the free plan that includes campaign scheduling, a feature not always provided by other services. The support team has been excellent, responding promptly and welcoming suggestions. The pricing is also very affordable, especially once you reach 2500 subscribers. I highly recommend EmailOctopus for its ease of use, affordability, and outstanding customer support. My favorite features are creating my own template and scheduling campaigns. Although it integrates with StoryOrigin, the platform I use for delivering reader magnets and newsletter swaps, EmailOctopus's API doesn't support list stats. However, the support team is open to suggestions and I hope this will be addressed in a future update. I chose EmailOctopus for its higher number of subscribers in the free plan, affordable price, scheduling option, and integration with my reader magnet delivery platform.

Simply Avoid.
Initially, everything seemed okay with EmailOctopus, but after an email blast, I experienced a 35% bounce rate. To my frustration, they suspended my account and also deactivated the links in my email blast, which was quite embarrassing from a business standpoint. I would advise you to save yourself the trouble as there are plenty of other email services out there.

I transitioned to EmailOctopus from another mailing list service that had significantly raised its prices and added unnecessary "features". I was initially nervous about the switch, but it proved to be completely hassle-free, despite having to create templates and sign-up forms from scratch. Transferring my list of 1500 subscribers was also easy. EmailOctopus's interface is incredibly clean and uncluttered. The website runs smoothly, even when I'm inputting a lot of information into a newsletter. Managing blocks is simple and testing emails before sending them is easy. I appreciate the simplicity of the campaign reports and the ease of setting up automations.Although EmailOctopus may not have as many features as some of the larger mailing list services, this isn't necessarily a negative as it makes the platform very user-friendly. I chose EmailOctopus because I was instantly attracted to its clean interface. The pricing seemed reasonable and I particularly liked the option to.
