Embracing the WeFunder Journey: A Founder's Perspective

As a founder, I am thrilled to share my experience with WeFunder. I invested a significant amount of time and resources into setting up and maintaining our campaign, and it was worth every penny and minute. There were some unexpected fees and shifting requirements, but these were all part of the learning curve. The WeFunder team was a constant source of support, always there to guide me through the process. They were responsive and helpful, ensuring both me and my investors felt secure and confident about the management of our funds. I have numerous emails that highlight their unwavering support and efficient management of our campaign. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was so impressive that they even reduced their commission from 7.5% to 5%. After overcoming a few challenges, I was more determined than ever to see our campaign succeed. I am grateful for the experience and the lessons learned, and I am excited to continue our campaign. I hope other founders can learn from my experience and embrace the opportunities and growth that come with using WeFunder. It's a journey worth taking!

Enhanced Support/ Secondary Market Review for Wefunder

Wefunder offers non-accredited investors the chance to invest in startups, but it needs more support. I often miss updates as they are not usually sent to my email. I'm not always notified about the status or failure of an investment, which is crucial for tax purposes. There's no secondary market on Wefunder for trading and selling investments. The system is flawed; some of my old investments don't appear and it seems stuck at a certain number of investments.

      Restored Access to My Account/Investment

I lost access to my account and was surprised to find that my investment was still intact after not checking it for 5 years. I was pleased to see that they had worked with the startup to maintain the record over the years. In today's world, most startup investments don't last a few months, let alone 5 years. As of now, I am very satisfied. My investment has not only survived but also grown. I am confident that I could leave it for another decade, come back, and still find my capital there, or at least get a reasonable explanation if it had collapsed to zero.
