Overall, I find Forecast to be a great time-saving tool for managing teams. My team members have expressed that it aids them in planning their week and understanding their tasks. However, I feel there's room for improvement in its design and layout to make it the perfect team management system. I value Forecast's direct integration with Harvest, a time tracking tool, which simplifies the task assignment and time logging process, reducing the number of steps involved. Although Forecast's interface is relatively easy to use, it's not very intuitive. It can be difficult to see what each team member is working on, especially when there are multiple people on the team.

The Forecastr software has revolutionized our utilization planning, transitioning us from manual spreadsheets to a tool specifically designed for the task. The additional cost is negligible compared to the value it offers. I especially value its integration with Harvest, which simplifies sorting and filtering by various criteria. This has significantly enhanced our visibility into product teams, functional teams, offices, etc. However, I wish it was more directly integrated with Harvest, instead of being a separate platform. Currently, it's easy to mistakenly create entries that aren't linked to a Harvest entry. A more direct integration would streamline our toolset, giving us a single place to manage time tracking and team planning.

I appreciate how Forecastr provides a unified view of our operations. It keeps our management updated on project schedules and our employees informed about their future allocations. This helps us avoid scheduling conflicts during project planning and identify where we went wrong if timelines are missed. Reporting and planning of project timelines is straightforward with Forecastr. Once familiar with the user interface, it's easy to report on timelines and view data. I particularly like the ability to zoom in and out to adjust the granularity of data. It's easy to understand what's happening with just a glance at the screen. However, setting up clients, employees, and projects can be a bit tedious. Although it's easy to modify or edit once everything is set up, getting everything in order initially took some time. Additionally, slower page load times on the app made onboarding a bit of a challenge.

It also helps me identify when a project is taking longer than expected and how this affects the company's profits. However, it lacks some project management tools and can sometimes be overly simplistic, which can be a disadvantage when I need comprehensive management functionalities.
