Hard to get logged in, search stinks

I've been using Protonmail for a long time. While being logged in is no problem on mobile, it takes a LONG time to get logged in on a PC, maybe even half an hour, refreshing over and over and just waiting until it decides to move forward, no matter what browser is used. ALSO, forget searching your emails for content. There might as well not be a search. And forget trying to delete certain emails within a conversation. It's confusing and not do-able. Protonmail is not worth the enhanced security. You might as well just stay with Gmail, which I wish that I had. I'm considering switching back and ditching Protonmail. Trying to use it has made me not even care anymore about Google spying on me.

ProtonMail: A User's Journey of Growth and Evolution

Just last week, I had an interesting experience where Proton Drive used up all the space, even though it's a separate product from ProtonMail. It was a unique opportunity for me to clean up and declutter my account. As an early adopter and promoter of this service, I've had the chance to see it grow and evolve. I had to delete my account, but it was a great chance to start fresh. Their customer relationship may need some improvement, but it's a part of their growth process. I've had my ups and downs with them, but overall, I still find their service commendable. I would definitely recommend giving ProtonMail a try!

      Potential Security Risk?

I attempted to log into my free email account on ProtonMail three times today without success. Each time, after entering the correct details, an anti-robot feature appeared, asking me to move a 'jigsaw' piece to a part of a photo and then press 'Next'. Despite doing this accurately three times, I was returned to the start of the log-in process each time and couldn't progress. However, I was able to access my email account later using just my username and password. I'm trying to confirm whether these failed attempts were temporary glitches in the Proton system or attempts by scammers to access my device. I would greatly appreciate a response from Proton on this matter. Thank you.

      Experience the Security of ProtonMail

I think ProtonMail is a great email service and I plan to stay a loyal customer. It's easy to create and use multiple aliases and domains. I find the Catch-All Email feature especially helpful for dealing with incorrectly typed email addresses. The folders and tags are handy for sorting received emails. As advertised, the product is very secure. However, the VPN can slightly slow down the connection and some emails have landed in my contacts' spam folders. I find it a bit expensive (I'm on the Professional plan), but I'm willing to keep supporting the company. I switched to ProtonMail for its security features and because I didn't want to depend too much on Google.

ProtonMail: Ultimate Email Security for Your Business, with a Few Extra Steps

I appreciate that ProtonMail is fully encrypted, giving me peace of mind that my sensitive business information won't be leaked, which is vital in the GDPR era. However, there are some sacrifices in convenience and room for improvement in the software. It provides full-scale encryption and great flexibility with multiple inboxes and aliases, and it's less expensive than other alternatives. On my Mac, I need to install an app called "ProtonMail Bridge" to make it compatible with my email clients. The ProtonMail Bridge often logs out randomly, making it somewhat inconvenient to log back in and sync everything. The spam filter can sometimes be overly aggressive, hiding legitimate mail. I switched to ProtonMail mainly for security and privacy reasons. I have nothing against Zoho, but they don't offer the same level of security.

Perfect for Distinguishing Work and Personal Emails

I love the default domain name options and the ultra-simple, clean interface of ProtonMail's app and web version. It's comforting to know that my work emails are secure from the start without having to dig into the account settings. I appreciate having no spam in my work inbox. However, the search functionality could be improved, as I struggle to find past emails based on keywords, unlike with Gmail. I switched to ProtonMail when I began freelancing because it was vital for me to separate my personal email (Gmail) from my work email. This way, I could tell if I needed to check it immediately just by looking at the notification icon on my phone's lock screen. ProtonMail has been perfect for this.
