Got the Job Done, Ended on a Sour Note
My last experience with Powtoon was disappointing, leading me to discourage others from using their product and company. I recommend choosing a different animation software with superior customer service. I had to quickly find a software for a volunteer project I was involved in. I was able to learn Powtoon fairly quickly and produce something beneficial for the organization. The software was easy to grasp and I managed to create a decent animated video over a weekend. However, after not using the software for about 6 months, I missed the cancellation window for the renewal and my credit card was charged. I immediately reached out to the company to explain my situation and ask for a refund, but they not only refused to refund me, they also ignored my following emails. As for the product itself, they included elements that were not part of my plan, which forced me to backtrack and sometimes export my video without upgrading. Many of the elements were too cartoonish for my taste and the export limits were somewhat confusing.

Powtoon: Top-tier Animation Software with a Hefty Price Tag
I think Powtoon is excellent. Its diverse templates are a highlight, enabling me to make unique videos every time. However, the cost is quite steep. I also faced some problems with the Arabic language during the free trial, though these might have been fixed by now. I switched to Powtoon as I was still learning animation and was trying out different tools like Vyond and Animaker.
