I am absolutely thrilled with Payplug! They processed a payment for a purchase I was eager to make. The merchant accepted my payment and I received a confirmation email stating that the transaction was successful. Payplug was quick to verify the payment, even with the proof I presented to them. Their customer support was incredibly responsive when I requested a chargeback from my bank, and they were extremely helpful in resolving the issue. Ultimately, the charge was reversed and charged back to the merchant, ensuring I received my refund. I give Payplug two thumbs up for their excellent handling of transactions confirmed by their merchants.

Excellent Service.
They have no respect for data protection. As soon as I registered for their free trial, they added me to their mailing list without any notice or consent. They completely deny their violation of current laws and regulations. When I confronted them about the issue, they referred to recommendations from watchdogs that they clearly do not adhere to. I wouldn't trust them.

When a chargeback is filed, they transfer the full amount of the transaction from my PayPlug account to the credit card-issuing bank, plus a chargeback fee of €15. This is clearly stated in their terms, and I appreciate their transparency. I reached out to their support team via email to get more details about this process and the reasons behind the refund. While I didn't receive an immediate response, I understand that they might be dealing with a high volume of queries. I appreciate their commitment to maintaining a secure platform for transactions. It's also worth noting that PayPlug operates primarily through email support, which is a modern and efficient way of handling customer service. In comparison to their competitors like PayPal, PayPlug has a different approach to chargebacks. While PayPal might issue refunds at their own expense, PayPlug ensures that the process is clear and straightforward for their users. This difference in approach is refreshing and it's great to see a company doing things their own way.
