Account Renewal Team Fiasco: Hidden Costs Uncovered
My experience with Chargebee was quite disappointing, especially regarding invoicing and billing due to overusage and issues with the renewal team. On the bright side, it integrates well with Salesforce and is excellent for multi-entities. It also offers many useful features and is generally an okay product. However, the renewal team was a significant issue. They charged overusage fees, which in our case, amounted to over $12K per month on a $3K per month contract, without any prior notification or communication from the account manager. When we attempted to renegotiate, they declined to use the overusage fees, which totaled $36K in our case, to offset the new contract. I've never had such an experience with any other SaaS, and we use hundreds of them.

Superb, Top-Notch Customer Support from Chargebee.
As an entrepreneur, I appreciate Chargebee's support for struggling entrepreneurs. Unlike many other billing software solutions I've tried, Chargebee offers a customer portal where customers can update their own billing information and cancel their own subscriptions. It also has a well-designed interface and notifies clients a day before they are billed. All these features are available for free until you hit $5k in revenue, which is incredibly generous. The only thing I would like to see is a one-time purchase option. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Chargebee and grateful for their service.

As a SaaS product, I use Chargebee for payments and billing, heavily relying on its addons and various subscription plan combinations. I am extremely satisfied with Chargebee, which offers a perfect UX/UI, complete with filters, mass operations, and detailed settings. I never have to wonder where to find a function I need. It also provides excellent API and integration support, powerful analytics (especially with RevenueStory), and top-notch customer support. The interface is meticulously and thoughtfully designed, showing a deep understanding of the user. In the six years I've been using Chargebee, I've only encountered two issues.
