Jedox's Role in Public Utility Companies

We are currently using Jedox to connect and model several controlling and reporting processes across all our subsidiaries. We also have plans to extend its use to planning and some accounting processes. I find Jedox relatively easy to use, well-developed, well-maintained, and well-supported. It has some unique features, particularly when combined, and integrates several functions useful for accounting, controlling, planning, reporting, and management. The only minor issues I've encountered are the occasional bug in the presentation layer and sometimes slow speeds when working with large amounts of data.

Jedox - Streamlined Financial Statistics at Your Fingertips

I appreciate Jedox's flexibility and time-saving feature as it allows me to run a query in just a minute and easily modify all parameters if I change my mind or overlook something. I also appreciate that I don't need to alter any data formatting in Jedox in Excel, as it's already in a neat and elegant standard, ready for sharing. However, I find that the system has difficulties handling large data volumes due to its Excel-related limitations.

Enhancing Management Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting with Jedox

We needed a replacement for our Management Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting. We worked with Mazeview to design and implement an Enterprise solution that improved our reporting and forecasting, speeding up validation and access to information. The flexibility, custom solution, and easy roll out were impressive. However, an undo function like in Excel would be beneficial. We chose Jedox over other products because I liked the ideas and solutions presented by our Jedox Partner, Mazepoint. We switched to Jedox because our previous product was outdated, slow, and lacked the group-wide reporting capability we needed to progress.

Jedox | Versatile Solution for Diverse Operational Challenges

I primarily use Jedox for corporate planning, which includes income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, operating figures, and HR, as well as for reporting. Occasionally, I also use it for performance measurement in project management and for solving mathematical optimization problems. I'm impressed by how much is included in the standard license, from integration interfaces to mobile reporting access. I also appreciate the flexibility of working with models as templates or designing from scratch. It perfectly adapts to my daily data collection and reporting needs. However, the detail settings are not always user-friendly, but in most cases, I can find further explanations on the homepage.

      Enjoyable User Interface with Jedox

I find Jedox user-friendly and it doesn't require extensive training for end-users. However, it can be somewhat slow since all data is stored in "memory". I transitioned to Jedox to have a system rather than just a tool.
