We've experienced a 100% increase in operational efficiency and cross utilization of resources with Boomi, making it future-proof for EDI with a 1600% ROI. The user interface was a deciding factor in choosing Boomi over 12 other options. Besides the UI, the ability to cut down our EDI onboarding time from 6-10 weeks to just 2 weeks was a major reason for our switch to Boomi. However, there are some minor workarounds needed, the most significant being the requirement for a Proxy server when transitioning customers to a new AS2 certificate.

Boomi Integration: A Game Changer for Higher Education
We have numerous applications and services on our campus that urgently need integration, and Boomi seems to be an excellent solution. We're still in the early stages of using it, but it already appears to greatly simplify data access for our campus community. I appreciate the high-level visual layout and the ability to use scripts for more intricate details. The support is outstanding. I reported a bug, which all software have, and a fix was provided in the next release. The pricing model, based on the number of connections, doesn't exactly suit our situation, but they are flexible in discussing alternative options. I wasn't part of the purchasing decision, but I understand that no other product could fulfill all our needs like Boomi does.

It supports nearly all software platforms and provides more custom integrations than Zapier. However, to get the perfect integration, you need a thorough understanding of Boomi. Although there are learning resources, they require time.

Adored it, yet there's room for improvement
My overall experience with Dell Boomi has been largely positive. I value its ability to integrate with ERP systems without requiring advanced programming skills, and it has notably enhanced the performance of many of my projects in a short span of time. I mainly use Dell Boomi for reporting and find it very user-friendly and straightforward. Its compatibility with other apps is excellent, and the range of connectors and development tools available is impressive. I also find the threat protection feature very beneficial. However, I do have some reservations. The cost may be too high for some users, and the debugging process could be simplified. It's also not compatible with Excel, and the logs it generates don't provide sufficient information, which can be an issue when trying to troubleshoot system problems. Lastly, I find the documentation to be insufficient.

My partnership with Dell Boomi has been extremely positive. They are always available, responsive, and eager to help. They consider our feedback and improve the product, which is exciting. The interface is user-friendly, making design, programming, and future updates easy. Its design allows for component re-use, saving us from starting from scratch or going through extensive code for changes. Boomi also has an impressive user community that has been a valuable resource for problem-solving. However, I think there should be more built-in features to reduce the need for custom scripting and SQL writing.
