Exploring Nasdaq Boardvantage: User-Friendly with Minor Glitches
I find Nasdaq Boardvantage to be user-friendly, with most users, including myself, experiencing few issues and being able to navigate through the screens easily. The software is mostly intuitive, with only a few minor exceptions. I rarely need to contact support. However, I did encounter an issue during the preparation for the last board meeting when the linked agenda disappeared due to file corruption. I'm unsure why this occurred, but I've faced similar situations a few times before. I simply deleted it and started over, as I didn't have time to reach out to anyone. I wasn't part of the decision-making process to choose Nasdaq Boardvantage. I appreciate the vendor's response and their offer of assistance should I encounter any future incidents.

Thrilled with Boardvantage!
BV has greatly simplified my work. It's user-friendly and easily uploads and merges documents. The staff are always pleasant and respond quickly. I have a dedicated representative who sets up my company, ensuring I don't have to worry about incorrect setup. The support is excellent with fast response times. I especially appreciate the replace feature in BV for document editing. While there's nothing I dislike about BV, there are minor aspects that could be improved. However, I can submit suggestions for review to see if others agree or have similar requests. BV is open to suggestions! I received a response from the vendor in June 2020, thanking me for my feedback and expressing their happiness that I'm enjoying the software.

Exceptional Customer Support from Nasdaq Boardvantage
I find the customer service and solutions team at Nasdaq Boardvantage to be exceptional. I never feel judged when I ask questions or misunderstand my admin access. They consistently answer all questions from me and our portal users, making the portal easy to use. Their customer service is unparalleled. Whenever I have a question, even if I could find the answer in a user guide, the staff are always ready to help, providing screenshots, individual calls, and one-on-one training if necessary. I appreciate the high level of security, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access. We recently used the survey function for electronic voting in our annual elections and found it very user-friendly. However, there could be improvements in the calendar option for conferencing details. We use Webex for our virtual meetings, but the teleconference information doesn't sync correctly with the links in the template. I wasn't involved in the research for a board portal, that was my colleague's responsibility, who ultimately chose Nasdaq Boardvantage.

The only downside I've noticed is that during the pandemic, when everyone is not in the same location, Nasdaq BoardVantage doesn't offer audio/video conferencing or the ability to present content like WebEx from a laptop or iPad. However, they responded to my review, appreciated my feedback and assured me that their team is dedicated to product innovation and streamlining workflows. They also expressed their commitment to helping customers adapt to the virtual/remote work environment.

I find the Nasdaq Boardvantage product satisfactory and a significant upgrade from traditional paper board books. I value the flexibility of accessing it on both my computer and iPad. However, I am frustrated by the constant security questions every time I open it, even when I've indicated I don't want them. Sometimes, it even rejects my correct answers. I also find it somewhat difficult to navigate between inbox items. The vendor has responded to my feedback, thanking me and assuring me that they are working on improving the digital inbox and security features.

The software has allowed us to go paperless, which has been particularly useful during remote meetings. All the published materials look uniform, but I wish we could customize material covers, even if just with different colors. Say Goodbye to Paper with Nasdaq Boardvantage
I use Board Vantage for three boards that I'm on and it's undoubtedly the best and easiest to use. However, I wish the sign-in process was simpler. Every time I switch between companies, I have to log off and log back in, which is made more difficult by my password management software not distinguishing between the companies. This means I have to re-enter all the information each time I switch companies, which happens frequently. I believe the security could be designed to allow a single sign-on for users who work with multiple companies. I've used the customer service feature and they are excellent. This software definitely enables me to use my time more productively and prepare for meetings faster and more comprehensively. The ease of navigation and note-taking capability are great, but the sign-on process and switching between companies' security is clunky. I appreciate the Nasdaq Boardvantage team's commitment to product innovation that streamlines board workflows.
