Recently, I had a minor hiccup with my website renewal. My website was temporarily down and I was surprised to find out it had been sold. But, Hover's customer service was on it! They offered me a solution to get it back. Yes, it was a bit more than the original $15.99 I paid, but considering the importance of my website, it was a small price to pay. I believe Hovers is a good product but poorly managed. It's user-friendly, has a large database, and simplifies finding industry niches using SIC Codes and NAICS Code. However, I discovered that 40 to 50% of the database is inaccurate. The customer support and management team are terrible. They blocked our account and demanded additional payment to unblock it. We switched to D&B Hoovers due to this issue with the Hovers team.

I discovered hover.com through a parked domain I wanted to buy. Regrettably, their domain parking system is very perplexing and allows you to renew someone else's domain that you won't receive. This is disappointing as I expected it to be impossible. However, their support was helpful and fully refunded the renewal. They are probably a good registrar otherwise, just be cautious with their parked domains as you might not actually get it.
