Promising but Slow Updates, Solid Customer Support
I tested Clock PMS and initially found it promising. However, I encountered problems when I needed to add extra children at a reduced rate. The software required me to set up a rate type for each possible scenario, which was quite burdensome. There was also no default for each season, so I had to spend a lot of time updating the extended rates. Despite their claim of using Amazon servers, I found the response time a bit slow, although this could be due to my internet speed. The price is reasonable. The product is Bulgarian, so everyone has a strong accent and the support is based in Europe, so the time difference needs to be considered. The vendor acknowledged my feedback, admitting that Clock PMS was initially developed for traditional high-category hotels rather than shared-type accommodation properties. They are currently working on adapting the functionality to better suit properties of this type.

I appreciate the cost savings in software and hardware that come with using Clock-PMS. Its market-leading features automate processes and save time, which I find very beneficial. I also enjoy the self-service portal, which my customers seem to like as well. The software can be extensively customized to meet our needs and there is a constant focus on continuous improvement. The customer support is comprehensive, but it's not available 24/7, which can be problematic since we are based on the other side of the world. I appreciate that they are developing a PMS based on best practices and the future needs of customers and hoteliers. They are very receptive to feedback, which is fantastic. However, I would like to see a public product roadmap, although this is only a minor concern.
