It's especially handy if you manage a mix of things, as you can modify different parts of the system to meet your staff and guests' needs.However, I find Checkfront's front-end booking portal plug-in to be quite unappealing and not very customizable, even with the recent upgrade. If more customization was available, I would probably use the booking page option. For now, I'll stick with the API integration, although it also leaves a lot to be desired, with no updates made to the API for years now, something my web developer often points out.I was taken aback by Checkfront's new prices. Their previous pricing was very competitive, but the new one is not.

      I genuinely think that Checkfront is the worst product I've ever used. My company insists on using it, much to my frustration. Every aspect of using Checkfront is aggravating, not just for customers and guides, but the administrative backend is even worse. Setting up tours takes three times longer than it should. I frequently have to reach out to customer service due to product failures. Despite all the effort, the software still lacks basic functionality. While customer service is generally helpful when the software fails, I find myself needing their help quite often. The user interface and user experience are completely illogical. As a guide, the most basic thing I need is to check in guests on a tour. However, Checkfront doesn't even show me how many people are on the tour. It doesn't alphabetize the guests, forcing me to sift through a list of randomly sorted names every time a guest arrives. Many guides in our company, including myself, have refused to use Checkfront.
