I had a fantastic experience with Caspio. Their technical team offered to assist me in building my custom app, but I preferred a more hands-on approach and found their tutorial videos very educational. As someone with some database experience, I appreciated the design features and concepts similar to Access and SQL statements. I was surprised by how much I could configure with just a data page. Initially, I was impressed with the cost per data page, but I soon realized that a robust application would push me into the mid/highest price tier. I really enjoy the video tutorials and the numerous powerful design features. I'm still unsure about integrating with other systems like accounting or using it on mobile devices. I chose Caspio over Kintone because it seemed easier to learn and use, and it has a good design flow. Plus, Quick Base seemed quite pricey.

I find Caspio to be excellent. We handle millions of records and have begun transitioning from an in-house data warehouse to Caspio due to its no-code administration and secure data protection layer that doesn't require us to strategize around. Its drag and drop table relations offer extensive data mining capabilities, and the datapage wizard simplifies the setup of a search interface, but also allows for complex customization in later stages. The biggest win for us is the secure environment Caspio provides for our data. However, its limited ability to build on an iPad is a drawback as it would be beneficial for on-the-go adjustments and configurations. We chose Caspio for its application resilience and data handling capabilities. We switched to Caspio for its flexibility, no-code administration, same-day deployment, and secure worry-free infrastructure.

Subscription Cancellation: A Near Impossible Task
In the beginning, I found Caspio easy to deploy and adequate for basic tasks like form entry and data display. However, I soon discovered that the platform was more limited than advertised. Implementing many features required workarounds, causing conflicts with CSS and JavaScript on other parts of my websites. After nearly 100 hours trying to resolve these issues, I decided to cancel my subscription. However, I was told they wouldn't stop the recurring billing due to their terms, which were not clearly stated when I signed up. I wouldn't recommend this product, not because it's not functional, but due to the company's poor policies and management. I chose Caspio mainly for its capabilities and pricing, as it was cheaper than other options and could be whitelabeled. The vendor responded to my feedback, expressing regret for not meeting my expectations and promising to consider my feedback to improve the evaluation process for new users.

I am highly impressed with Caspio's customer service, which is accessible via chat, email, and phone. They always seem to be available, which is quite remarkable and superior to larger companies. As someone who doesn't code, I find their cloud-based database management solution extremely beneficial. It has many features that have greatly aided my business in a competitive market. However, I believe there should be a feature for multiple check boxes where choices can be drawn from other fields. The rules for conditions are also somewhat restricted. For example, I can't apply another conditional rule to the same check box if I want to disable other check boxes when one is selected. I think there should be the capability to apply multiple conditional rules to a field. I switched to Caspio for its ease of use, as Aware IM requires you to be a proficient coder.

I've been using Caspio for over 12 years and I've seen the company grow and mature. Their customer support is notably above average. What I appreciate most as a Caspio developer is the speed at which I can develop projects from idea to deployment. I can swiftly test things and get client feedback as I go along. Caspio's low-code platform enables me to create robust, mission-critical data-driven systems, even without a coding background. I rarely encounter issues with Caspio, and any minor ones I do have are quickly resolved. I initially switched to Caspio because Alpha 5 couldn't meet my needs. While it was a good software, I've stuck with Caspio as it's a better fit for me.
