Regretting Our Choice of Thought Industries
I am extremely dissatisfied with Thought Industries. I can't find a single positive aspect about this software. I regret choosing it due to its lack of necessary features and difficulties with implementation. I've had issues with configuring the software, grading discussions, integrating media, and developing pages, among other things. I was promised flexibility and full access to change whatever I needed, but none of this was true. I had to hire multiple people and work around numerous issues to get the software to function even remotely like a normal Learning Management System (LMS). The vendor responded to my complaints, expressing their eagerness to work with me to resolve the issues. They pointed out that other Higher Education vendors have given positive reviews and believe that Thought Industries can be a successful solution for my business.

Thought Industries: A Collaborative Partner, Not Just a Vendor
Overall, my experience with Thought Industries has been excellent. The team, particularly the customer care and technical support groups, have been fantastic to work with. They've assisted us in transitioning from our old LMS and resolving technical issues. I view them more as partners than vendors. Now that our system is operational, we're utilizing more of Thought Industries' features. I particularly appreciate the organization of the content, the ease of assigning settings, and the simplicity of assigning access and using panoramas to keep different audiences organized. However, we're struggling to get a stable certification exam running on the system. I also wish the details page was always visible, regardless of the user's subscription model, and that the "back" arrow in the left-hand navigation was a true "one page back" button. We switched to Thought Industries because SAP owns one of our competitors. I value the vendor's response and their commitment to addressing our concerns.
