The team at City Fibre made setting up Octopus a breeze. They sent me a high-quality router, a TP Link, on the day of installation. However, the communication prior to setup was lacking. The only correspondence I received was an email weeks prior, stating that the promotion I was promised was no longer available. This was frustrating, especially since everything, including direct debits and installation dates, had already been arranged. I called customer service to express my dissatisfaction but never received a promised follow-up call. Despite my concerns, I continued with the process, having cancelled a reliable service to save money. Now that everything is set up, I'm experiencing incredibly fast speeds. I'm waiting to see how stable the service is and whether Octopus will backtrack on their Autumn promotion. I sincerely hope not. I'm looking forward to enjoying fast and stable fibre broadband at a reasonable price.
