I value the capability to form groups and servers at my discretion. I think that if more Discord servers were set up globally, it could possibly minimize ping problems. I transitioned from Skype to Discord as it seemed outdated. Discord is gaining popularity globally, it's simpler to use, and provides more features than Skype.

Overall, I consider Discord to be one of the best messaging applications out there. It's not easy for people to find my servers unless I share my link with them. I've observed that everything operates more seamlessly on Discord compared to other messaging apps, with less delay and smoother calls. What I truly value about Discord are its editing options. If I make a typo, I can easily correct it, and I can delete messages whenever I wish. One drawback is the lag I encounter when I share my screen, but it's manageable. I switched to Discord because it's more visually attractive than Telegram and I don't need to link my phone number to chat with friends.

Steer Clear of This App
My experience with Discord was extremely poor. Their bot wouldn't allow me access and I was unable to utilize the app. Their customer service was dreadful. I tried to register, but the app automatically deactivated my account before I could complete the process. I haven't participated in any spamming or trolling, so I suspect the problem may be related to my VPN usage, although there was no mention of VPN usage on the registration page. I contacted their support but didn't receive a response for three days. I'm aware there are many other similar or better apps, but I need to join a Discord community for various reasons. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone, unless they absolutely have to use it like I do.
